Volksmond is made by DigiPhyte (Pty) Ltd. This notice explains what happens to your information, both in the app and on this website.
The short version
Volksmond runs entirely on your own computer. It does not send your audio, your transcripts, or any usage data anywhere. There are no accounts and no tracking inside the app. The only personal information we ever collect is the email address you choose to give us on this website, so that we can send you the download.
What this website collects
If you request early access, we store the email address you submit. We use it only to email you the download link and the occasional update about Volksmond. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it on to anyone else.
Who helps us process it
- Resend, our email provider, to deliver the download link and updates.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site and stores the email address.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and runs no third-party analytics. Your browser keeps a small preference for language and light or dark theme on your own device. That preference never leaves your browser.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address while Volksmond is in early access and you want updates. Ask us to remove it at any time and we will.
Your rights under POPIA
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, please email us.
